Looking for a STEM Digital Technology Program that spans Reception to Year 10? In Term 2, 2024, SACOME piloted a STEM Digital Technology Program. Originally developed by CME in Western Australia, it was tested in six CESA schools. The feedback was excellent. 100% of participating school leaders endorsed the program.

The SACOME STEM Digital Technology Program adopts a whole-school approach to digital technologies, spanning from reception to Year 10. It comprises eight online modules , offering options for primary or secondary school kits. The curriculum covers Automation (coding) and Data Science, with each module featuring authentic learning activities co-designed by industry and technical experts. These activities demonstrate practical applications of automation within the Mining and Energy sector, including career opportunities and entry pathways. The Automation Challenges provide engaging and challenging activities to support students and teachers in learning Digital Technologies, aligned with the Australian Digital Technologies Curriculum (v9).
