In 2019, Ms Phoebe Wood, a Year 6 student from Upper Sturt Primary School became the first Primary School student to be awarded The Oliphant Science Awards Trophy for her Model - Anchiornis Huxleyi!

Phoebe has documented her adventures over the course of the year including some amazing media opportunities, having her project on display at the SA Muesum and her attendance at academic conferences!

Take a look at her video - feel free to share and use this as inspiration for yourself, teachers or students! Her adventures have really helped to show how The Oliphant Science Awards competition can help those with a love and passion for science achieve and further their learning!

Congratulations again to Phoebe! From all those involved with the Oliphant Science Awards, we look forward to seeing where your passion and love of Science takes you in the future!
